100% of SAM tools are guaranteed against any manufacturing defect. This warranty is limited to the replacement of the defective products, excepted damages and interests for whatever is the cause.
In the constant will to bring the most successful service to his customers, SAM created supplementary levels of warranty which complete the legal guarantee.
In each product corresponds a code guarantee SAM. The conditions of applications are expressed in the text SAM GUARANTEE appearing in the price list.

The « LEGAL » Warranty : L

All SAM products are covered by the legal warranty (article IV of Decree 78/464 of French legislation) : Warranty with no time limit against all hidden faults or defects of manufacture.

The « SAM TOOL » Warranty : O

Warranty with no limit on tools used under normal conditions (see “Application” paragraph). Applies to defective parts (deformation, mechanical failure, etc.) or premature wear (if confirmed by the expert opinion of SAM technical department.)

The « SAM EQUIPMENT AND MACHINE » Warranty : M

Warranty limited to a period of 1 year, on equipment and machines used under normal conditions (see “Application” paragraph). After the expiry of this period, repairs and replacements are subject to a quotation submitted to the customer for acceptance.

Application of the SAM Warranty :

These warranties are applicable to the different families of products as shown in the table below.

Conditions of application of the SAM Warranty :

Within the framework of its warranty, SAM will repair or replace the defective product with a new product or a product in similar condition (standard exchange) without charge. In the case of a product which is no longer available in its sales plan, SAM reserves the right to offer a product technically equivalent or superior to the defective product with or without financial participation according to developments in the products. Normal wear and tear, abnormal use, modification or repairs except in our own or approved workshops nullify all clauses in the guarantee. Warranty “M” is applicable on condition that the product warranty certificate or copy of the invoice is returned completed and dated on purchase. Whatever the cause, the guarantee is limited to defective parts and SAM shall not be liable for damages of any kind.

Claiming under SAM Warranties :

Defective products must be returned to SAM Tools through the intermediary of the distributor who supplied them. They will be subjected to expert examination by our technical services which will take the decision regarding application of the guarantee and inform the distributor. In the case of replacement or a invoiced repair, SAM will prepare a quotation which will be submitted to the customer for approval.
